    [Help] What are the tools required to clone Canon HDDs without SST?

    Hello guys,

    I am a pretty new fish when it comes to cloning canon hard disks. My question is how do we clone a working canon hard disk into a brand new empty 2.5 HDD?

    If I am not mistaken, the tools that we need here are;

    1) A working canon iR HDD
    2) An empty HDD (20gb)
    3) HDClone/Acronis etc.
    4) A USB to IDE cable
    5) A functional PC

    So, basically, we first connect the "external" working canon HDD to our PC and copy the entire HDD into an .img file. Next, we clone the .img file into the empty HDD through the USB to IDE cable.

    Is my procedure right?

    Help is appreciated, thanks alot
