Re: ImageRunner 7095
Let me ask the obvious question,, did you restart the copier after making the settings changes to the IP? This is an often missed step...
Try starting the copier in Fixed IP, and hook up your laptop to see if you could push some small piece of software at the copier. If it works in Fixed IP, that would rule out hardware as an issue..."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"

Re: ImageRunner 7095
Print a User's Data List and verify the correct IP address. If the address is correct and machine still will not ping (using your laptop connected with crossover cable), the NIC may be corrupted.
Before ordering the NIC, perform COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>MMI . This will reset all user entered data, address books, scan & print settings. Then re-enter your IP address information and try pinging again.Comment

Other ideas.............
1.* > [Additional Functions] > [System Settings] > [Network Settings]
> [TCP/IP Settings] > [IPv4 Settings] - ???? > *[ PING command] >
2.Check Up ///Host Name/// Workgroup name
3.Gatheway check up
4.Making a Check Using a Loop Back Address (Loop BackAddres 127.0.0.1)
5.When the network settings have been made,to turn off and then on the main power so that the settings will become valid.

Re: ImageRunner 7095
there is not a NIC card on this unit...it is built into the main controller and it can go bad.
I would dump all settings on the machine under additional functions> system settings> initialize all data settings and when the machine is finished with that put into fixed IP mode and try to ping via a known good crossover cable. If you get a response this way then you have a network configuration issue and not a machine issue like Mr Fixit said earlier.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment
