can the irxx70 series perform an auto shutdown that can be adjusted at a certain time daily?

additional functions>timer settings>daily timer settings should shut the machine off like you want. I'm sure there is a thread in here with more detail on it....I'm sorry this just forces this model into sleep mode

Damn i'm old.Of course you can do.Charm is 100% wright.Daily timer settings.Honestly,I newer use this function.

but does it shut it off or force to sleep? Going to test this out again...its been too long...lol

the 8500 I am at goes into sleep mode.

you can set your machine to the lowest levels of power consumption while in sleep mode to get as close to shutting it off as possible. Other than that you will just have to manually shut the unit off every night.

thank you guys , but daily timer doesn`t shut down the machine. Actually I don`t think it does anything at all because ( as i know) the machine doesn`t support a calender that helps it to recognize the corresponding day for a specific date .

you have to go in and set the time and date.
additional functions>system settings>time and date settings. there is a spot for timezone as well.
