    [Error Code] Canon IR8500 E0005f2-0001

    Can anyone help me with error code E0005f2-0001 on a Canon Imagerunner 8500. I thought it was termistor related but it does not appear to be so.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      I think your code is referring to the saddle stitch unit. Check the small white 16 tooth gear on the front of stitch unit that is engaged and the free movement of other motors and gears. Could be staples interfering with movement.
