    [Electrical] IR 5570 E 800's

I had a problem with the primary fan connector and was getting E 824's. I got aa schematic and tore the cabling apart to get to pin level repair to get that fix.

Then got an E 804-0001. Pulled the DC Controller off to bench check the little yellow fuses on the DC Controller. All tested good. Put board back on copier and now I am getting E805-0002 dtl =0002.

Driving me nutz. Suggestions? Does this happen mutch?

once helped a fellow tech with a series of e 800 codes-turned out some wires were pinched at some point, and the machine began throwing codes around like it was a bingo hall. see if anything is pinched-it can be very easy to have that happen, or even a tie wrap may start to cut into a wire once it has been moved. Good luck!

      FM3-(24/12 V)2-speed control (voltage)-
      Check J111=DC controller PCB

E805 /There is a heat discharge fan error/there is a feed fan error.
0001 =The heat discharge fan stop signal has been detected for 5 sec or more even when the
      heat discharge fan is on.
0002 =The feed fan stop signal has been detected for 5 sec even when the feed fan is on.

I think you put the three wires back in the wrong order at some point, and you blew the controller.
Double check by following the wiring on another machine to the connector above the door switch to see how it is laid out.

I got those codes once when my fan cable broke, and I had no manual.
        Ended up replacing a controller.

Check jamper 111, check (24 & 12)V > it is standart error for iR

              Re: IR 5570 E 800's

After many moons the copier is fixed. The DC Controller fixed the 824 primary fan problem.

The 805-2 was a constant after I fixed the wiring and switched out the board. The connector for the fan on the back of the machine was not plugged squarely and had a kink in the wire bundle. They make those yellow wires so small and delicate.

Thanks for everyone's help. I am glad to have this monkey off my back.
