    Canon ImageRunner c7055

I have the error message "Empty Waste Container... Call Service Rep". I have emptied the container, washed it thoroughly and dried it but the message still appears. I would like to avoid making a service call.

I think I need to get into the service mode to clear this but I don't know how. Can someone tell me how to get into the service mode and how to clear the message?

    Thanks.

Clear the Waste Toner Container and Waste Toner Full messages
perform the following functions to clear the message:
    Enter Service Mode,
    Press (*) Settings/Registration,
    then 2& 8 simultaneously
    ,
    then (*) Settings/Registration

    1) Clear the waste toner Counter:
    COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>W-TN-CLR

    2) Install a new Waste Toner Container

    3) Execute the offset adjustment of the Waste Toner Full Sensor:
    COPIER>FUNCTION>MISC-P>WTN-OFST

It is also recommended to clear the waste toner counter in Service Mode >
    Counter >DRBL-1 > <WST-TNR>

    Also
change the following setting in Service Mode Level 1 -decreased the amount of times the imageRUNNER Advance is calling for waste toner removal.
    The service mode setting is:
    COPIER >ADJUST >MISC > WT-FL-LM to '2'. In this case, setting WT-FL-LM to 2 resolved the issue.
