    canon toner

The toner in hp mono cartridges can be used in multiple models, for example toner in a 2100 printer
is the same toner in a 4100 printer. I have a question for canon techs or other knowledgeable techs.
Is canon mono toner basically the same across all models the containers being the only thing that is different?

        NO'`````````````````````````
The specific polymer used varies by manufacturer but can be a styrene acrylate co-polymer, a polyester resin, a styrene butadiene co-polymer, or a few other special polymers. Toner formulations vary from manufacturer to manufacturer and even from machine to machine.
Typically formulation, granule size and melting point vary the most.

That is such a good explanation.

I remember being in a HP training some years ago (when I was still doing HP) that the trainer showed us a transparent plastic bottle of yellow.
I shaked it and I could swear it was liquid. Turned out it was toner.
