IR 2270 jam in duplex code 0107

I did the door upgrades and removed the small black foam pads and I'm still getting duplex jams code 0107 at PS13. What else could be causing this?

See the attached pdf, it does mention paper being loaded the correct way which I find a bit insulting but its otherwise a good read.

Doing the combo settings on the xx70 range and the 3025 types will help but will not always be the end of the problem. Ultimately you may need to get the user to use 90 or 100gsm paper or run the machine A4r.

On the 3225 range cassette heaters are available and with the correct customer advise make a big difference.

Have had alot of issues with this type of jamming and each tech seems to have his fav ways of dealing with it. If you do a single sided copy and the paper comes out with a curl, there is no way it will do d/sided, damp paper. Replace what is in the cassette with a fresh ream and of course dry. The settings on the above attachment do work, however, Canon do advise on adjusting the fixing temp to 3 which actually decreases the temp and stops curling the paper. Alot of jams do happen in the drum cleaning area. I have found adjusting the registration to -5 and the all the other settings to 0 apart from RG-HF-SP to -5. TR-TP-TM to 50/80 depending on model and TR-TP-LV to -50. Canon states that TR-TP-LV should be +50, however i find that causes a transfer issue on the trailing edge of the 2nd sided copy.

This is alot of trial and error, alot of outside influences, paper type, humidity, temp of the office or location of the machine, paper dampness etc, etc. I do find setting paper type to recycled, even if its plain paper helps alot too. I will keep looking at different settings and by the time its fixed, these machines will be on the scrap heap
