    General Network/Settings

Hi Guys im new here so please go easy on me!

i have been thrown in the peverbial 'deep end' in setting up a Canon on the network tomorrow. unfortunately i do not have the model, but if its anything like Ricoh, the device setup wont differ too much!.

i have great expereince in networking Ricoh/Develop/Sharp/Samsung devices

im just looking for general information such as basic key operator passwords on the devices and also web browser admin default passwords, and any other information that may help me.

    kind regards

    Model # is needed
Also info>if it has an external Server (imagePass Fiery/ColorPass/)

default password for a Fiery set up is Fiery.1

Thanks, i do not know the model but surely all canon machines have a similar default admin password for settings?

i have used Fierys on Ricohs before so accessing them wouldnt be a problem.

      cheers

there are no set default Admin passwords on Canon's

unless someone set one up before unit was delivered to protect Network settings from being changed

Thanks mate, is the basic scan to folder procedures pretty easy to configure like the Ricoh devices!

all depends on Printer installed options/ or if Standard applies to said model
