Canon Imagerunner 2525ir default password

Hello everyone,

I have a canon imagerunner 2525ir and tried to set up the network card but i could not get into the Additional Function due to Admin Password etc

Can anyone please assist with this issue?

To the best of my knowledge, these are not born with an Admin Password, if it is like other imagerunner models, it has to be setup with one. My question would be, who set the password up on this device, and get that info from them...

Lots of luck with the settings.

Default system password: user:7654321 , psw:7654321
Default technician password. 11111111
Control panel password: user: Administrator , psw: password

Default password for new Canon models is UN-7654321 and PW-7654321

I knew it was for the Advance boxes,, is this considered an Advance model, or are they going with a default one since the time the Advanced boxes have been developed???

I've installed a couple of the ir2525 and also the little irc 1021 equivelents and they seem to all be set with that same default password

you can though just enter enter svc mode clear password and get rid of that crap........far easier than a couple of phone calls a day from end user's 'forgetting this'

Also worth noting, to avoid some headaches, is that Chrome won't login even with the correct password (default is [blank] ). So I tried IE and boom - login no problem first try.

...I hate IE.
