[Error Code] irAdvance 6075 unit with E748-9000 non-clearable code

I'm working with one of my techs on this machine; new install, worked during setup, and at power up (after splash screens) machine codes out with E748-9000. Service manual lists this as a "System Error; see sales company". Tech has tried new Controller 1 PCB with no sucess, swapped out ROM as well, no change. Has anyone experienced this error code in the field?

This is the only thing that I have on that error:

An E748-9000 is a Communication / Mismatch issue with the TPM PCB

    Problem :
An E748-9000 occurs when there is a communication or mismatch issue with the TPM PCB.

In this instance, Main Controller 1 was replaced with one from another machine. The TPM pcbs were exchanged between the main controllers before installation. The replacement main controller was left in the machine and original TPM installed with no resolve.

    Solution :
Exchanging the TPM and FLASH ROM pcbs as a set between the two controllers resolved this issue
Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.

That's interesting, did the machine have TPM enabled?

We attempted to swap the TPM and Flash PcB's but it made no difference...we then replaced both Main Controler 1 and 2 and installed the new TPM and Flash on these but no change.

We've since pulled the unit and are working with our product support on this...will update when a resolution is found.

It's not the same exact code, but it's worth a shot to go into Level 3 and Copier>Function>Clear>E346 Error. The Main PCB Controller boards are NOT interchangeable amongst the series. 6055, 6065 and 6075 have different part numbers.

I would not clear that code E346

                  Flash Board
FM3-9204-000 and the part description is SATA-FLASH PCB ASS'Y.

Take note that this part is matched to the serial number of the machine it is installed in and can not be moved to a different machine.

TPM boards are also used in laptops. I have some more epeerience with TPM in these : Unless you replace a mainboard with a new one (you have to program/brand the serialno in them) you cannot use the TPM on another board. It's a securety measure to stop ppl from pulling data from parts of a system.

In the case of laptops : TPM + Mainboard + Disk -> replace either and data is inaccesable...

I guess if he printer is new and setup worked fine... maybe the TPM went bad ?

u can't swap Main pcb 1's -------poster created the E355-0004 code/ and E748-9000----level 3 will not clear the code with mismatch Main Pcb 1's

MNCON 1s are of different engine speeds between 6065 and 6075 and use different part numbers.

When you need to replace the Main Controller PCB 1, it is important to first ensure the proper model number of the device as the Controllers are different for each model.
