IRC 3220 ram Problem?

Hello everyone, i've been recently having problems to boot the copier.

sometimes the screen just doesnt turn on, other times it turns on, tries to boot and then suddenly reboots.

I openned the copier and removed 1 ram module, then always tries to boot but very slowly. And when I exchange the ram modules, the other just doesnt boot or continously restart.

I also tried to put a computers' ram into it but it doesnt work either.

try and get in service mode during progress bar / be quick/ check error log


Swap out the Memory DIMMs (from another machine if available or replace lower DIMM and upper DIMM) on the Main Controller one at a time. This should help you to determine which one is defective. Replace the defective Memory DIMM.


cheaper to buy refurb dims to try-

2-WA7-4107-000 /512m=1024m


++pull out the boot rom>clean ends>re-seat it
