[Misc] IR2030 DUPLEX FUNCTION

We had this IR2030 when press on the two sided mode only "2 to 1" appear nothing else, this really baffle us, as our other machines do not have this problem, is it the other 2 sided mode function being swith off, but this is not that i know of.

When selecting the 2-Sided tab, the only two sided feature available is making one sided copies from two-sided original (2 > 1 Sided)

main cause for this issue is the imageRUNNER does not detect that a DUPLEX unit is installed. The iR does have the Duplex unit, and all Two-Sided features were available prior to servicing ??

This may apply to u/ Canon
The cause for this issue was connector related.
The Duplex Unit is connected by a 11 pin connector located on the left rear corner of the iR.
In this case, the left side door was removed from the iR for servicing and the 11 pin connector was not properly connected.
Inspect this even if printer was not serviced- Re-seating the connector corrected the Two-Sided issue.

Does the machine have a DADF ? If not then only 2>1 will come out.

I thought it was 2 single sided originals making 1 double sided copy, no DADF will show this.
You have to copy from the platen glass.

what are u talking about ???

On this control panel-
u have a selection of 2>1 sided (double sided to single sided)
and a selection of 2-sided (single sided to two sided)

The machine do come with a DADF-P2, It was as tecket mention the cable some how was not connected properly, we had clean & reconnected back it work fine.
