    [Misc] root CA certificate error in iR3225 secutity mode is 802.1X/EAP(WLAN CARD)

    I have installed wlan card in iR3225 and configuring it with 802.1X/EAP Security setting.it is giving 'root ca certificate error'.I have tried installing system software v42.01 but still no luck.please help how can i get this root ca certificate bypass or installed.

      Hi,

      Might be way of your target but have you done CA Key clear under service mode level 2?

          Configuring and Importing Key Pairs and Certificates on the Canon Devices:

          For detailed instructions, see the attached file 'certificate_key.pdf'.


          * Note - Any key pairs or certificates imported onto the copier must be registered to be used. You can only register key pairs that use the RSA algorithm (the DSA algorithm is not supported).
          To delete a key pair or certificate, you will need to disable SSL for all the protocols that support SSL on the copier (ex. RUI, IPP, SMTP, POP, Device Information Delivery, MEAP).

              This model series supports wireless with the inclusion of the Wireless LAN Board-A1 (item number 2727B001AA).

              Please note that in order to install the Wireless LAN Board A1, the Expansion Bus Board E1 (item number 2724B001AA) will have to be installed into the device as well.

                  did u do this procedure first
                  Before registering the new imageRUNNER 3425 Series System Software v42.01.02, uninstallv20.01 installs correctly.

                          did u read this pdf. above ???
                          & below>>iR3225 TP10_093b.pdf

                          u used a USB to install the updated ver. firmware in printer -
