Re: IR Canon 1024 feeder wont do double sided
Think that 0011 is a Reverse outlet delay-
have u tried a 2 sided to1 sided test ??
u sure u read that code correct ?
what are the other jam codes listed in log ?
where does the original stop ?
is it pulling in multi sheets ??
Check the Left side Cover 2-sided transport guide-
in ADJUST./CLEANING
SPECIAL MODE N
When the two-sided printing function is used, paper may curl severely or become jammed. Enable this setting to prevent paper curling or jamming.

Yes jam code is correct .other codes are 000A and 0010 but its the 0011 codes are mostly. This machine is only a year old so that service bulletin should have no bearing on it. When the feeder scans first side and it tries to refeed it back in for second side the paper only gets as far as the switch back guide or those large white plastic stoppers.Comment

I have seen it a couple of times,, there are clear mylar guides under the grey feeder tray, lift it up and inspect the mylars. What you will find is that one of them has turned up edges. The trail edge of the document is supposed to pass thru the mylar, then that edge becomes the lead edge and pass back into the feeder. It is catching on the upturned mylar fingers..."Once a King, always a King, but once a Knight is enough!"

Still an issue guys I changed the feeder and bout the only thing left is the Image Processor and that would cost as much as a new machine so gonna leave that one. i also had one that the display was not working but could see the progress bar this fault turned out to be the Image Processor .Weird and wonderful faults give me back the old NP50 or NP5000 the only thing happened with them was a sep belt or a clogged filter in the tank lolComment
