    Imagerunner 2830

    After being on for about 15 minutes the display flashes on and off, makes a slight beeping noise, powers up and down, etc. Is this a power supply issue? Have not worked on this model before, is this a common issue with these? Thanks.

    Try this first enter >on control panel__
    select--Additional functions>System Settings>Network settings>TCP-IP>Multicast Discovery and set it to "off" (default is "on").

    u need to remove memory>clean ends of memory>then re-seat it

    problem may be resolved by doing a MMI clear in service mode.

    COPIER>FUNCTION>CLEAR>MMI
    power of/on----------re-enter you user settings back in printer

    *Clearing MMI will erase all User Defined values, excluding Fax.
    Print out the following reports;

    Print out a User's Data List for "Send", "Network", & "Printer" from Additional Functions.
    Print out a "USER-PRT" from service mode COPIER>FUNCTION>MISC-P
