    IR 1022A Ir Toolbox problem

    Hi Guys!
I've got a problem with an IR1022A . it has been installed on the computer with UFRII and works perfectly as a printer then I tried to install it as a scanner with the IR Toolbox 4.9 of course thruogh an USB cable. After I installed the toolbox and try to config the buttons in the application, it says the supported scanner is not installed.
I'd done before several times installing with Ir10XX on usb cable scanning but never had this kind of problem.
So I made an ALL Clear....nothing happened.
I updated the firmwares from v61 to v68 but nothing happened also.
What should I do?... The customer uses XP.
Someone told me I should install a PCL driver for the machine ( like its a pcl printer even that PCL option doesn't inlcude this machine) so I installed it as a pcl driver...but it wasn't good idea...nothing happened.....
    What can be the problem?
    Thank you !

Your error message is due to scanner driver not install properly It is best that you use the CD that came with this machine.

You might want to try this link
This unified driver contains UFR II V2.00 printer driver, Fax V5.00 sending driver, ScanGear V11.3 USB scan driver.

Plug USB into PC and load IR tool box software on as a Administrator

Pull Scan Network TWAIN driver (75-300dpi)
      (standard for all models)

I understand the problem you have, I also understand the fixes the others are offering - however I am thinking the problem lies in the Firmware or more correctly, the Installation Order/Version/Option - did you have the Pink Error Screen while updating (using SST?). From memory the Boot V61 is still the same however PCL must be updated in order that scanning/emailing & address book be enabled.

                Hi,

I might be wrong but the link that you download to install would not support your iR1025iF. The iR toolbox would definitely work in your 64bit PC but scan driver will not.

                Try this link

                imageRUNNER1024 iR Drivers (64bit)

It for the model iR1024iF but your's would fall into it range.
