[Error Code] Canon IR 105 E222-000

Guys I'm having trouble with IR 105. Intermittent E222-0000 I check physically the heater lamps both are in good condition and appearance. Upon switching on in the morning, sometimes the error appears and sometimes it doesn't (test for 3 days only once the error appeared) if we copy multiple (5-10K) error sometimes appear and sometimes it doesn't. I replace the thermistors (2Pcs). Please advice what board I can bring to test.

    Thanks' in advance...

Did you ever find a resolution to this? I, getting the same error with an IR600 with good bulbs.

E222 is not an error for the heater lamps, it is an error for the scan lamp heater.

I apologize for sounding like an amateur but we're a small print shop trying to maintain an older copier we own. Would an IR600 normally throw this error if it was just running a straight print job?

          Dear all,

1-Start by changing the scanning lamp heater (it has not to hide the lamp intensity sensor).
2- Replace the light control PCB.
          3-Replace the reader controller PCB.

          Rachid.

Also replace the Scanning Lamp, it is the same bulb as iR600.
