    U can't calibrate the 2620 printer that has it's own scanner/copier glass-
if u have a 2620 printer only model that does not have the copier glass-
you will need to use the Color Calibration Utility CC-100 on a Windows PC>can be found here below on link...
    http://usa.canon.com/cusa/support/of...ersAndSoftware
it supports the Color imageRUNNER series Base Printer model only. If you are using the Color imageRUNNER series Copier model, please use the printer's color calibration (Automatic Gradation Adjustment) function. The utility is not supported if the copier is connected to an imagePASS.
    Compatible Scanners
    - CanoScan LiDE60
    - CanoScan LiDE70

    Canon U.S.A. : Consumer & Home Office : CanoScan LiDE100

Re: Throubleshuting: C2620 Calibration Utility Driver

your CanoScan model might not be compatible to the Calibration Utility CC-100 /

U may need to call Canon to see if the 2620 supports a CanoScan LIDE100 ??

READ THE guide below/ u may need to uninstall/re-install

          Remember >
if u have a imagePass Firey connected and or a Printer that has Copy Glass this Calibration utility will not support either set up-

          I will do some research_

If u have the stand alone Printer> use below
Canon Color Calibration Utility CC-100 v2.6 for Color imageRUNNER C2620/C3200/C3220/4080/4580/5180. This version adds support for Windows Vista.

DOES YOUR 2620 PRINTER HAVE GLASS ON TOP/ it is known as a READER/SCANNER ??
if it does the calibration utility will not work-

if not call 1-800 OKCANON , to ask if the 2620 will support your stand alone scanner

post a picture of your printer

also when u removed the Fiery - did u
              1. Enter Service mode (Additional Functions > 2 and 8 > Additional Functions).
              2. Select Copier > Option > Int-Face > IMG-CONT.
              3. Change the setting of IMG-CONT to "0"

By the way, if the CC 100 utility is compatible with the C2620, it work just in case that the printer have not Imagepass Fiery or Reader?

                      Yes > why didn't u tell me u had a Reader
                      NOTE:
There many things that effect your COLOR Output in this model (LASER/DRUMS/ITB BELT/TONER/TRANSFER/SEPARATION/FUSER/PRINTER ENVIRONMENT/
if you are not a trained tech/ u need someone to inspect this printer/ Calibration has it's limits on a poorly maintained Printer

Under Additional Functions key on control panel
Set up Cassette 1 with intended Paper Type> Plain or Heavy> put in choice of your paper>
select>Adjustment / Cleaning and select Auto Gradation Adjustment
be sure to select FULL ADJUST

see instructions below / just follow the prompts/

Note: If the customer is planning to print/copy a job on Heavy Stock (Over 105g/m2 or ~55lb) it is
recommended to select Heavy 1/2 .
When running a Plain Paper job (Below 105g/m2 or 55lbs) select Plain.
u can also calibrate for heavy paper( photo paper ) see same instructions
