drum unit replacement on Canon NP6016

    Hi,
Client got this machine donated to them. I am Muratec/Konica-Minolta dealer primarily. The drum is worn out and they asked me to install it. Are there any counters to reset or simulations to run? If so, I would appreciate them.
    Thank you.

9-17-2011 11-09-39 PM.jpgYes there are two settings that need to be changed in Service mode . The primary and offset value. To match the drum value. Otherwise your new drum may give poor quality or not last as long as it should.

I am in a world search for a NP 6016 Developer that has a good mag roller. check this to see if its worth going forward. PLus Ill give you a good price for your used developer if its in decent shape. Image looks like crap. PM me your email and ill send it.

I used to use BRASSO to clean those NP dev.rollers with some success/ perks up the CQ.
Remove roller>wipe off with small amt. alcohol/wipe BRASSO straight across roller>polish good>clean off with a damp cloth> let dry>wipe clean again

This wont work in my case. Blade has messed up and is digging into the roller. Causing a large light area.
