[Error Code] ImageRUNNER C3200 BLK Drum Unit

Remanufactured Canon IR C3200 BLK Drum Unit. After several tests interchanging a good working DU and the remaned one concluded that something in the ctrg itself is preventing it from working properly and it's not the chip. Keep getting an E000020-0434 and an E000020-04b0 error codes. Continuity has been checked and gears are turning correctly. Has anybody had this experience and can someone suggest a course of action.

20-04b0 Indicates the drum is approaching the end of its life.

In service mode Copier > display > dens look at the values for each colour 0-1 is ok but if its around 4-5 for black that's no good
Also whats the drum life (Copier > display > misc) or has the chip been tampered with.
If the drum life is high 200% or more the developer will be bad and this well cause toner to drop inside the machine.

When they re manufactured the drum what have they changed?

Best advice I can render is to not use reman'd drums. Savings is usually eaten up by flakey problems...
