    ir-2200 hard drive isssue

    We have a ir-2200 that a had a bad hard drive and we replaced it with one from a working unit, but the copier is doing nothing ,screen displays bar then locks up. We have replaced HD's from one copier to another and have not had this issue with ir-2200's before.Any ideas? Thanks....ps this is a regular 2200.

      Did you try to reload software with SST tool?

          Main Controller DIMM could be bad ???

          are both printers networked ??
          they both must have same Boot Rom
          if one is not and the other is / u can't swap HDD between them !!

          u will need to do an overwrite all in SST on working HDD with the correct firmware
          **Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**
