We are trying to print a brochure from the Canon Image Press C1 (fairly new machine to us). We have tried to set up pulling a cover from the Stack Bypass, or a different drawer from the basic paper supply for the balance of the brochure. Apparently we are not doing something correct, because it is not working.

Found out the reason. The project is set up in InDesign on 17 x 11 layout. In order for the printer to read inserting special paper, etc. it has to be set up on 8.5 x ll sheets....the printer does all the other configurations for you.
