canon IR c4080 error

Hello,

Getting a e020-03B0 then replaced the cyan drum unit and now I'm getting a e020-0334 code. I guess the e020-03B0 indicates a toner drive problem and the e020-0334 is a question at this time, any help would be great. Thanks

hope u have the printer off when u replace DRUMS ?? / it sometimes prevents a working printer to throw errant E020 codes

pull out the CYAN drum and mark all the drive gears on the back to see if they turned during initial rotation.- CHECK if the gear for the developing cylinder was is turning.
The Relay/Driver PCB and the Developer Drive Motor control the movement of the Developing Cylinder.


0334- SALT sensor trouble or a broken/disconnected wire,There is trouble in the drum unit/
Deterioration in ITB.

could be the Cyan Laser locking up out of position/ no patch on ITB
u can swap lasers to see if error 0334 moves to other color laser

03B0=drum unit end-of-life-
Could also be the toner cartridge drive assembly for the specific color causing the problem.
