    [Misc] LTR to A4 conversion

Hi all, Does any body know how I can set an IR adv 2020 / 2030 to automatically override an LTR sized job to print out onto A4.
I have a customer with 14 devices on uniflow and they frequently send LTR sized print jobs without realising. This of course holds up the entire print queue until somebody has the sense to either delete the offending job or force it on to A4.
I seem to remember on the old GP215 with fiery print boards had an option for this.

Fiery's have that option to convert the page from US to EUR and vice versa, by default the US driver chooses letter size paper.

At the machine level you can go into * Settings/Registration>Function>Printer>Printer Settings>Custom Settings>Paper Feed>Default Paper Size and try adjusting it there, but I am not sure it will auto size the docs for you. You may have to save this at the driver level.

      Hi and thanks for that.
I don't need to resize the document, just want to pump it out onto A4, so the numbskull that sent the LTR job doesn't hold any body else up.
I've taken a look at the settings suggested on our office ir Adv 5035, and there is indeed a paper size override option in there.
I shall have to take a look at the 2020s when I am next at the customer's.
      Thanks, I'll keep you posted.

not sure about your model, but on the bigger ones , when you get to printer settings, there is an option for paper size override.

You will need to visit the machines and perform this action:

Additional Functions - Settings/Registration - Function - Printer - Printer Settings - Custom Settings - Paper Feed - Paper Size Override (default is set to Off - switch it On)

                Re: LTR to A4 conversion

I'e been back today and set Settings/Registration>Function>Printer>Printer Settings>Custom Settings>Paper Feed>Paper Size Override to ON and it does appear to work.
It's also worth checking on the driver that A4 is set as default paper size and "Match paper size" is set to on.
                Thanks guys.
