Hello,every body, I have a canon ir 8500, The copy is full black, no image printing, Only photocopy. The print is good.

we already know prints are ok-
have u actually watched the scanning of the glass copies with the cover up ????
u need to check the connections for the CCD unit

You've try almost everything, are you sure the parts you've test are all good? Did you test it one by one?and regarding black copy there is a totally black copy, and black copy with an image. Try to check if your mirror is reflecting the light at the middle of the lens.Comment

and your copies from the glass & df have solid black over the image = OPTICS ISSUE
you see the text or image from copying under black ??
post that picture> adjust the image control to light>make a copy>post the pic here**Knowledge is time consuming, exhausting and costly for a trained Tech.**Comment
