    irc6800

Hi, for this model irc6800 i heard it can be use as b/w and colour function by 2 separated drum unit. My supplier said theres no individual black toner for sell, we need to get 1 set toner CYMK. Sometimes we mostly print in black and this will make us keep CYM in many if in long term. But i heard somebody said we can use ir5000 genuine toner for irc6800 black and we still not really sure and confident about it even we got pretty lot of ir5000 genuine toner. May be the most experience technician here can verify it? Thank you

We don't need to use wrong toner. You can try it and let us know.
If you use it for black only, eventually you will get error codes on the colour devs.
There is no place to use 2 drums in that machine

      3. Select "Additional Function"
      4. Select "Copy Settings" and scroll to the second screen

Thank you, i think i should load TD-7 toner (for ir5000) to give a try once the irc6800 machine arrive. We got no choice just to find others black toner to fit it instead keeping too many CYM.

Holy CRAP i hate that situation where you need to take sometime to clean it. Well hmmmm ... any suggestion to use other black powder toner? But i thought there will be a hole on c6800 black toner tube for me to refill a TD-7 powder?

O man this is funny. This box of crap is so sensitive and you cant get away with just running black. You need to run color to help uncontaminate the color devs from the black toner that has dropped into them! But by running color you generate simple use that requires way too much work. Hit the red button and call a ditch digger. I did 3.4 million on 6870 with a scumbag dealer who didnt want to buy a new drum. red button then call a ditch digger.
