[Misc] clc 1180 w/colorpass z400e

i have just removed my print and interface boards from my old clc 1140 and installed into my clc 1180. i am trying through service mode to tell the machine that there is a rip attached / service mode - options - int-FACE - B-CLR. everytime i try to change B-CLR to "1" telling the machine that there is a rip attached, it resets the value to "0", no rip attached. any ideas or suggestions?

The CLC's are not like the Image Runner series where you have to go into service mode for the Fiery connection. I am trying to find old documentation as it has been so long since we have sold a CLC device, but I do know that the setting you are trying to change is not the correct one. I will post back if I find the info I am looking for.

try setting copier>option>int-face>remote to a '2'

thanks for the effort. i went into config mode on the rip and printed a test sheet. it has been working fine since then.

no es nesesario hacer ningun cambio solo conecta los cables y envia tu pagina de prueba y funcionara sin problemas.
