    U posted in a imageclass D880 discussion //
next time /switch your post to a iRC2620 heading , so all could see

READ THIS PDF ABOUT BOARD CLEANING/Re-Seating/& Measurement

    Board Cleaning_TP07 094[1].pdf
this applies to all imageRunners, so disregard models listed on pdf- it does list the E732-0001 CODE
this procedure has helped many a tech and saved them time and money

when a single pin of each Sub PCB is not properly mated with the slot on the main controller. Therefore, when multiple boards have poor connections different error codes may occur.

    try this first
power off printer/ unplug from wall/ follow below
Remove & Re-seat the ribbon cables between the Reader Controller and the Interface PCB
plug back in wall outlet/ /power up

or could be a defective Reader Controller PCB / or a defective DC Fuse PCB

Just verify the connexions between the reader and the printer.
