[Misc] Canon iRC5800 all color prints have a yellow hue to them

Hey all. I am trying to figure out how to fix this issue. On all collor prints and copies there is a yellow hue to the paper. Not sure what to do.

I'm not familiar with this model but it seems like a problem with yellow developing or drum unit. Check if some toner is dropped.

I agree with jummamaster . Replace the yellow imaging unit.

        any ERROR CODES ??

when was the last time someone did a CALIBRATION on this printer -
old yellow developer unit-/check the yellow unit locking claws > both sides
check the bias leaf spring for yellow on rotary unit> viewing from the toner
cartridge slot > if loose or deformed ?
to turn the developing rotary for inspection, execute the following service mode [COPIER>
        Function> MISC-P> DEV-DR-Y/M/C].

        1. Remove the developing ass'ys and clean the inside of the machine.
        2. Replace the developer.
        3. Snap the lid of the developing ass'y in place, and then install the ass'ys.

are u trained on Canon Color printers & or this model ?

I am not a trained canon tech. I am technical savvy though, I am a PBX technician. (Yes, 2 different systems) I just don't want to spend $500 for someone to come out here. I've already replaced/fixed some other issues with this and another machine we picked up. I also have been working IT for several years, fixing printers, etc. Just haven't done much with the ImageRunners.

Any assistance would be appreciated. I am trying to find a service manual for this machine. I can't even find one to buy.
