I want to print a banner 300mm X 600mm to irc4080. From windows i have the option to register this size of paper, but when i load the paper on stack tray there is limit of 320 x 457

Stack Bypass-Irregular Size
- Paper Size: 3 15/16" x 5 7/8" to 12 5/8" x 18" (99 mm x 140 mm to 320 mm x 457 mm)
That is it-for this model

If you select [Irregular Size] for copying, you cannot use the Poster, Finishing, Book 2-Sided, 2-Page Separation, Cover/Sheet Insertion, Image Combination, Booklet, Transparency Interleaving, Job Block Combination, or Store In User Inbox mode.

I don't want to use poster option. I want to use long paper.

On help i found this:

For the iR C2380/2550, C2880/C3380, C3080/3480/3580, C3080/C2880-J1, C3580/C3380-J1,
C4080/C4580, C4080/C4580-H1, C5180, C5180-H1, C5185, and C5185-H1,
custom paper sizes with height settings greater than 457.2 mm (18 inches) are treated as Long Paper

You will need to press Additional Functions, Custom Common Settings, and select the stack bypass size entry option. This option must be turned on. It will now prompt you to select the paper size installed in the stack bypass.
NOTE: When finished, verify the setting by hitting Paper Select in copy mode. The stack bypass should show the correct paper size that is installed.

2. In the print driver properties (Start>Settings>Printers>Right-click Properties). Go to the Device Configuration Tab and hit the Form to Tray Assignment button.


Set the stack bypass to the correct paper size (loaded in the stack bypass).
3. Make sure the document to be printed is formatted to the correct paper size within the application it is being printed from.
For example, if you are trying to print to Letter paper in the stack bypass, then the document should be formatted to Letter size. Choose File, then selecting Page Setup within the application itself.
4. Finally, must select the correct paper size within the print driver and must select the stack bypass as the Paper Source.
Now the document can be printed (pulling correctly from the stack bypass).





set up your STACK BYPASS SETTINGS

12" x 18", 11" x 17", Legal, Letter, Letter-R, Statement-R,
Executive, 12-5/8" x 17-11/16",

Irregular size (3-15/16" x 5-7/8" to 12-7/8" x 18") and Envelopes

Select STACK BYPASS
Press [Irreg. Size].
-Enter the size of the paper using the numeric keys on the touch panel display.
-Press [X] - enter a value.
-Press [Y] - enter a value.
-Press [OK].

(The X value defines the short edge, and the Y value defines the long edge).
To select a registered paper size stored in a size key ([S1] to [S5]), you must store
the irregular paper size in the size key beforehand.

Paper Type Management Settings (Name the Paper)

This feature allows users to specify, edit, and manage select media types within the imageRUNNER device. In the previous imageRUNNER devices, users could select from several standard paper types when registering their media. With some of the newer imageRUNNER models , users can now specify a name based on the specific properties of the media (I.e. Letterhead). This will allow for easier identification, and help reduce the risk of inadvertently selecting the wrong paper type when specifying for copy or print jobs.

-Custom paper type names can be specified at the control panel or through the Remote User Interface.
-Users can specify up to 200 custom paper types with new names in addition to the default paper types already registered in the device
-Users can only edit the contents for NAME. Detailed information for CATEGORY, BASIS Weight, FINISH, and TYPE are displayed.
-Once a new name has been stored, it will appear in the 'Detailed Settings' section when specifying a paper type within [Additional Functions], [Common Settings], [Register Paper Type].
-If a custom name has been registered for one of the paper sources, the registered paper name is viewed on the control panel screen when the drawer is selected in the 'Paper Select' function.

I know how to setup the paper size.
My problem is this:

In this chart referred that supports custom paper size 320x630(long size paper) but there is a limit up to 457mm when i try to register an Irreg. Size paper.

never seen that page before/ not official
CANON TYPE ERROR

this is the largest size paper for bypass-
12-7/8" x 18" is the largest irreg.size u can set it toon this model

It does not matter what the salesman or the book says.
If the machine is giving you a limit , that is it until you or canon re-programs it.

This may work> for paper up to 630 mm long

Have your answer```````````SERVICE MODE
- Press [Additional Functions (*)] key.
- Press 2 and 8 of the numeric keys at the same time.
- Press [Additional Functions (*)] key. => SERVICE MODE LEVEL1

>U then go into LEVEL 2 of service mode to set the Long Length mode
(After starting up [SERVICE MODE] , press [Additional Function] button again. Then, by pressing [#2] button on control panel, the LEVEL 2 screen is displayed.



MF-LG-ST Sets long length mode key on control panel for bypass tray,SELECT "1"
Setting values
0: Normal setting
1: Display long length key in mode screen.
[Factory settings and after RAM clear: 0]

hit OK! To set>then exit mode

Long Strip Original option will only be visible in the Special Features tab of the Copy screen
