upgrade system to v 14.01 or above

When an E020-0081 error code is displayed on the control panel (when the value of [P-SENS-P] hasdetected as being less than 255) while the background of the image on the drum is being checked uponpower-up or recovery from sleep mode, the machine stops operation with the bias voltage applied tothe charging roller. This leaves the charging roller mark [B] on the drum surface (Fig 1), causing blacklines in the main scanning direction.

      I concur with vigour.

Upgrade the system software before you put in a new drum, or you will lose it again.

it may pay you to strip out the machine too.remove the dev assy's and itb assy and give the machine a good vac. Also non oem toner can cause overtone so your patch sensor will keep getting dirty.

Check your rotary unit for any damage especiallywhere the developer is located.
If necessary replaced the rotary unit

Firmware issue needs to be addressed first/ drum line is a known problem without the update
              see posted pdf above
