Canon Laser Class 710 "replace cartridge" Error

I am getting a "replace cartridge" error on a Canon Laser Class 710 machine. Different cartridges tried and still no luck. It lets you print 1 page then displays the message and the next print that comes out is blank. Anyone have any ideas on what causes this? Thanks!

    are u using refilled units/re-manufactured ones ?????
check that it has 3 tabs for bias along the side

check the Drum Ground contact on the Rear Plate Assembly
check the metal contacts on the toner cartridge position to the contacts on the EPU board

    EPU board could be toast
best to call for trained tech to investigate this board/pain to replace>it's a massive disassemble

They are brand new OEM cartridges.

Is the EPU board the one that the laser unit connects to, or the board on the right side?

What is the rear plate assembly?
