[Misc] iRC 3200 toner

Hello,


I need quick help if posibile. Atm I must wait 2 days for new toner but I need tonight to print. Im put black toner from C-EXV17 in catrige from irc3200 before replace toner msg, but after short time device says replace black toner
I dont have new toner or reset chip on disposal. Is there a way to get around it? Far as I know there is an option in service mode by which this can be done.

drill a hole in each of them and pour the toner from the cartridge you cant use into the cartridge that is for the machine. Make sure the hole is on the top!!! and then seal it back up with a plug. It should get you through till your new toner arrives. Just be careful and go slow when pouring as it will make a mess and I would get a funnel of some sort as well to help out with the process.

I do not recommend this process, but when you are in a pinch this should work.

Problem is in chip. 3200 have a RF chip .... 4080 have a contact chip....toner from 3200 can go in 4080.. Problem in chip. On irc4080 you can put tape on one contact and you receive error msg but possibilie to print. 3200 have RF chip and after cca 20-25k copies dont let you to print although the charge cartridge. This is problem. Toner in C-EXV17 and C-EXV8 are almost identical and for first help is good

that is why I suggested to drill a hole and transfer the toner into the container that works in your machine!!!!!

Hi,

if you need to black print only, you can swap the toner black chip with that of a color cartridge;I think the machine will allow you to make black prints only!

Problem solved. I drove today 200km and bough toner. Also I have ordered 10 pieces toner reset chips for future
Still, if someone know how to overide in service menu please reply here or through PM. Thanks in advance

I think i am kind of lost! How would transfering toner into a cartridge with a dead chip help?
