To restore the imageRUNNER printer board to factory defaults and select the language and market region, you can either format the hard drive and reinstall the system software or follow the procedure outlined below: * Note - Whether you are re-installing system software or following the procedure below, be sure to print out a Configuration Page beforehand (to have a record of the current printer board settings).

        1. Turn on the main power switch and the control panel power switch; then, press the Options or Print I/F button.

        2. Get into Setup:
        - For Printer Board -F1 / H1 / K1 / D1 / E1, hit Yes when prompted 'Do you want to enter Setup?' (on imageRUNNER 330 / 400, hit the ROM button when it appears). Select Run Setup from the menu that appears.
        - For Printer Board -P1 / R1 and Color Printer Board -A1 / B1, let it boot to idle. From the idle screen, select Functions, then Run Setup.
        3. In Setup, select Factory Defaults.
        * Note - Selecting Factory Defaults will cause all files, additional fonts, job logs, and the like that have been downloaded to the hard drive to be lost. Please make the customer aware of this fact.

        4. The system will restart and show the Setup menu automatically.

        5. Select the desired language and market region.

        6. Configure the rest of the Setup options as needed.

thank you and I appreciate your quick respond but when i switch the power on and choose system i see booting and i/f and set up when i press setup there is some options :
run set up , start system , install software , format disk , upgrade flash and flash info. and wen i press start system only one word appear ( warte ) it means wait. i'm waitnig without any changes.
thanx again and if you know any other way please tell me what to do.
          have a nice time

            Hi,

As advise from teckat, factory default would allow all settings to be reset and it will request a hard switch reboot. After the reboot, you would be able to select English.

But since in your 1st post, you had perform a format, then you are correct that you need the software known as PDL DownLoader to install back the printer firmware that you had formatted. Best that you get authorised Canon tech to look at your problem.

which Fiery printer board does your machine have?

from this search you seem to have Fiery x2e.
your best bet is a tech in Europe

The PageStation GP225 provides a fast and flexible laser document printer for use in the vast majority of business network applications. With the X2e Printer Controller the GP225 can produce A4 prints at the rate of 22 per minute (12 prints per minute A3), and can print on any size of paper from A3 to A6. Unlike conventional laser printers, it offers all the automatic paper handling facilities you would expect to find on a well-featured copier, including image scaling, sorting, stapling and transparency interleaving. The machine will even select different types of paper for the front and back covers of your documents and insert them automatically. The GP225 also has a 3.2GB hard drive onto which print jobs can be saved for re-printing. In addition, the GP225 has Fiery Webtools which allow the user to control and monitor printer/print job status over the Internet and company intranet. With resolution at 2,400 x 600dpi, every page is a superb quality first generation print.
