[Error Code] E602 2000 ir 3225n

Hi all, Going to this printer on Monday, tech replaced HDD and dimms. When you turn on printer with srceen stays blank for a min then hangs with bar halfway across screen. If you start it with 28 it stays blank but comes up with E602 2000. Looking at manual it says something about encripstion board and to clear the encripstion key with SST. How can I do this when it wont boot up to download mode? Any advise would be greatfull

if you have an extra set of power and communication cables for the HDD I would grab them. There is a good chance that you will need the main controller though. We have had a ton of issues with the main controllers on this series.

E602 Error Codes with Sub Code 2000
Inspecting or Replacing the system 512MB SDRAM in slot J2032 (WA7-5211-000) should resolve this issue.

Also make sure the HDD Interface Cable (FK2-6693-000) is connected securely

You also may need to re-seat the HDD to Main Controller connectors at each component. One of the cables is 4 wires and plugs into connector J2024 on the Main Controller. The other cable is red and plugs into the Main Controller at connector J2014.

Main controller fixed the fault. Thank for your help

glad you got it fixed. Those main controllers seem to be flakey on this model.
