[Misc] Canon irC5870 touch panel adjustment

The touch panel will not detect in the area of the Function button. Therefore I cannot preform the Touchchk function. Is there another way to access this? When I touch a button it seams to actuate the one below it.

    go in service mode>>>>>>>>>>
    COPIER>FUNCTION>PANEL

TOUCHCHK Use it to adjust the coordinates of the analog touch panel.
    Method of Operation
    - use it to match the points of press on the touch panel and the coordinates of the LCD.
    - perform this service mode if you have replaced the LCD.
    1) Select 'TOUCH CHK' to highlight, and press the OK key.
    2) Press the symbol '+' appearing on the touch panel in sequence (9 points) to end the adjustment.

I have a service handbook and already know this. If you would read the post you would see that the touch panel is non-responsive to the area where the function button is located. Based on the fact that when you touch a button it activates the on below it I would have to touch the panel in the middle of the blue plastic frame of the touch panel.

Did you check your connectors between Control Panel and the Main Controller.???

        if ok !!!!
        Replace Analog Touch Panel=FK2-0246-000

The Analog Touch Panel sits on top of the LCD display is used to feed the controller within the panel with the X and Y coordinates when the panel is pressed upon.
