I need help on this one...I've got parts and don't know where they go...unit is jamming with no error code, just a message to remove paper, open right door and open lower door. When you can get it to copy, it jams at the fixing assembly. I suspect these are part of the fixing assembly...probably around the black feed guide that was also out of the unit when I arrived. Any help would be greatly appreciated. The white part is broken...so a part number so I could replace would be fantastic!

charge them for a new fixing unit>>>Canon imageRUNNER 3530 Fuser (Fixing) Unit - 120 Volt, Genuine (J5637)
They broke it and trying to piece a broken machine together it not easy unless you have a lot of experience on it. The spring is from the guide on the fixing unit. The other white part does not look farmiliar.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned. -
Re: ir3530 - Jamming because parts "fell out"
Thanks for your reply.
I've done many printer/copier repairs (going on 17 years...just not this make/model) and I'm not easily scared as long as I have a parts manual and can figure out what it is I am fixing. The white piece has me stymied...I was unable to find any place where it seemed to fit or where there was additional white plastic that appeared to be broken. The right door assembly closes hard and seems a bit out of kilter, but not enough to have the unit "see" the door as open when it is closed.Comment

Re: ir3530 - Jamming because parts "fell out"
I think that might be part of release mechanism that is on the inside of the door when you push the button. I think they are usually grey though. There is a cylinder spring that goes with this as well.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment

Re: ir3530 - Jamming because parts "fell out"
ok the white part is on the inside frame near the front right above the fuser. I have never ordered it and I'm not sure if this part is listed in manual or not. Still looking.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment

Re: ir3530 - Jamming because parts "fell out"
that white part is the mechanism that applies pressure to your fuser assembly and is pushed on by the release button on the door.

could be #14-FC6-2924-000 or #16-FC6-2927-000, but I'm not sure and I closing show and heading to my next call. Maybe someone else can verify this for you.Accidents don't just happen. They must be carelessly planned.Comment
