    [Misc] black shade in the top edge , please see the attachment

    Hi Friends , Canon iR3235N after installation it is copying black edge.

    please see the attachment, I replaced the new drum unit & checked all the settings, but not ok. some time it coming clear copy if i copy a lot, but after 3-4 hours same thing. please see the sample copy

      thanks for ur reply, no user print list is ok, but copying is the problem. I replaced the drum but not ok, I am thinking to replace ccd flat cable, if same i will replace carriage unit, should i do it? please advise

        is your document laying flat on the glass?
        is your CCD sitting correctly under the glass?
        Does it do this on stream reading as well?

              there should be white plastic guides that the scanner moves on. Make sure both the op and non-op guides are in place.
              I would also go through and clean the scanner and run the CCD adjustment procedures before replacing parts.
