this is a communication issue that can be anything from a bad cable going between the imagepass and machine, to the open interface board that the cable plugs into on the main controller, bad RAM, defective main controller, to old firmware or file issues.

start with reseating the cables and boards and checking your machine and RIP versions.

make sure that the 3200 copier is at a minimum of ver. 55 system software.

1. Check if the affected iRC 3200 has 256 MB extended RAM installed.

2. Check and make sure the Boot Rom of the iRC3200 is type "C"
3. Enter the Service Mode and make the Interface Setting set to "3" COPIER > OPTION > INT-FACE > IMG-CONT
4. Check and re-seat all the connection cables.

5. The System Software could be corrupt. Reinstall the System Software
6. If the error persists after reinstalling the System Software, one of the following parts may be defective and should be checked.
1. Network Cable

2. Video Cable
3. Hard Drive
4. Motherboard

yes I try to use the one with 2 Digit LED and with a SATA HDD. Is it really not compatible to CLC3200? i'm using now that works okay is the one without LED and with a slim HDD (like the ones used on laptop.

Although did not really got the offical spec. from EFI Support, we assume it is during our testing. We bacsically setup both hardware's firmware (machine & RIPs) to latest and in ready state, then swap the RIP. Only 1 bootup correctly, no prize for guessing which one did not.

You could still try your device, as i'm not familiar with CLC3200 whether it same as iRC3200

CLC3200 and IRC3200 are the same machine. I believe the C2 (SATA drive) is only designed to work with the 3220 series where the C1 (laptop drive) can work with both.
