    Canon IR Advance 5030i

    Hi Guys and Gals,

I have set up a one touch button on scan and send on a machine with Unilflow. Is there anyway of disabling or graying out register button as customer wants it disabled as only sending documents to one folder and users keep on pressing register new folder etc.

    Thanks

    Hi, Shazza

i might be wrong but i think your iRA C5030 with uniFlow require AMS kit in order for further customised settings. uniFlow has their support forum, you can also check with them.

      Hi kl568,

Still no luck but got round it by setting up a favourite shortcut directly pointing to the folder on the system so hopefully that will stop customers messing around wit h register new address etc,

      cheers,

Sorry, I keep thinking of uniFlow too much but, after reading through your original issue faced is to prevent any users from adding new data into the copier's address book.

I think it can be done by setting a password for accessing address book. And turn OFF new user of eg email. It should be in this :

Settings / Registration > Register Destinations > Register New Destinations

            Hi,

I will check next time on an irA 50 XX . Does anyone have a desktop simulator like we used to get on the old devices. It would be very handy to check thing when not working on a machine and at home!

            Thanks.
