    Ir7095 nightmare

Hi again everyone, at last our machines ir7095 arrived at our warehouse. There are nearly new machines and everything looks ok. When we attached the sorter to each main body most of them cant detect the sorter at service mode there and the I/O shows in all zero. Without the sorter they can run with no problem. What im thinking is may be the previous users using the machine without sorter together while they loading the firmware to it. Something should i do to detect the sorter? Should i reload the newest firmware? Does this model come with different finisher firmware that we need to load seperately?

the finisher has it's own power switch, on top.
you have to power on the finisher on first, count to 5 then power on the copier .
powering off off goes the opposite way.

make sure the circuit breakers at the back are in the right position and make sure the BNC connectors are attached.

Have you try and look under "Acc" in Service Mode Level 1 & 2? You will need to set from "0" to "1". Sorry, This is the best I can provide, as I had seen 1 of my guys done it. With the service manual, you would be much better off.

you also have to go into service mode and tell it there is a finisher after connecting power and communication cables. Make sure that the T-connector and terminators are in place as well.

copier>option>acc-d>acc1-8 enter the number of the finisher in relation to the machine. If it the only thing attached then it would be a 1. see installation guide>>>FINISHER V1-V2.pdf

There's no error code coming out, everything was in position including the T-shape connector. The top finisher power switch was always on before we turn on the beast. Will check on service mode either it's set to 0 or 1 to indicated the finisher and will follow the instruction for turning off and on in order. Will see where does it went wrong.

The other thing is tray 1 and 2 was display as LTR even we adjusted manually the tray size to A4. I know it something to do inside service mode but who can tell me? I'm sorry still processing the purchase of SM.

after you set the service mode setting for the finisher you have to go through the shut down sequence and then power everythin back on.

Today, we manage to get those beasts run ^^ The c1 and c2 was in 18 and changed to 6 for A4 detection. The copier>option>acc-d>acc1-8 was in 0 for finisher and changed to 1 for finisher detection while there is no other accessories. Turning on the beast in order, everything looks fine just only theres a minor things to further check and service.

Thanks Herrmann, thanks guys ^^ ya guys roxxx

Canon is still working the bugs out on the 8105 series. Have fought some fun waste toner issues already, and the fuser clips breaking. Other than that things are working alright so far with them
