[Error Code] Canon IR3100cn Error Code e000004-001

    Hi,
Can somebody help me on my Canon IR3100cn which is showing an error e000004-001? I ask my friend about this one, & he said i have to clear the error,I managed to clear the error, but still the same problem coming up. After showing the error, after a minute the machine turn itself OFF. I live here in England, the machine is 220 volts, and my friend said maybe its because of the thermistor, but i have no idea where to buy the said parts.
    Thank you very much.

If you have more than 200 000 prints need to be replaced: Fixing assembly 230 V......... FM2-0174

Inspect thermistor and switch on FIXING UPPER FRAME ASSEMBLY

with that low amt. of prints- i would check this first--
Check to see if MS 3 is fully actuated with right door opened.

Remove the 2 screws holding the metal switch actuating cover (fig 13 pg 2-14 in parts catalog)which is located behind the plastic inner cover-
          SW3.JPG1.jpg
Also check if the front cover actuator has come into contact with and detached the front cover sensor PS22. The sensor can come in contact with the sensor mount, causing the 5V line to be shorted.
          this can damage the sensor---------------------

When you remove the 2 screws and begin to move the metal cover you will notice the gear and spring mechanism will release MS3 actuating arm.
Re-position the metal cover, replace the screws, plastic cover and check that the mechanical operation of opening and closing the Right Door are now correct.

Check the door actuating switch MS3. If the switch is in the fully actuated state even with the right door open this code will been present.
Loosen or remove the 2 screws holding the metal switch actuating cover which is located behind the plastic inner cover , & repositioning the metal cover

              E070

              Intermediate Transfer Belt/

Remove the ITB cleaning assembly and clean and adjust the cleaning blade side seals so that the seals touch the blade on both ends. Reinstall and perform an ITB cleaning to verify that the seals are cleaning properly. Replace the side cleaning seals if proper cleaning is not being performed (part number FL2-0084-000; Blade Sheet, front and FL2-0085-000; Blade Sheet, rear).

check belt/ static can build up and discharge to the ITB home sensor causing false read early faults.
Ensure the sensor is not contaminated or the patch dirty due to soiling. If everything looks clean you should clean the ground plates and replace the roller static charge plates. FC5-0365-000, FC5-0364-000 these parts can become contaminated and no longer provide the necessary grounding path.

check the two Roller Static Charge Plates
Replace or reform the two Roller Static Charge Plates listed below.

When facing the right side of the machine with the right door open, plate number FC5-0364-000 is located near the front side of the machine at the bottom of the front side of the ITB Assembly.

Plate number FC5-0365-000 can be located on the rear side of the machine after the ITB Assembly is removed.
              IMG_7342.jpg
Both plates are listed in the parts catalog on figure 102 items 25 and 26.
