    canon ir 3300 wait problem

Canon ir 3300 says "wait" on the screen.
I switched on and off the copier many times but of no use.
We found the problem is on the DC controller board.
    Need help to fix it.

First replace dimm with new one....

    DIMM ASSEMBLY-FG3-1620-110

    upgrade DC-Controller

    Check error code history.
If it ain't broke, don't fix it

Verify that the DIMM on the DC controller is mounted securely and is registered in service mode. Service mode>Copier>Display>Version>DC-CON.

If the imageRunner has a Fax Kit installed, check to see if the version of the Fax firmware is displayed in Service Mode (* 2 8 * > Copier > Display > Versions)
If the version for Fax firmware is ghosted out, try disconnecting the Fax Board from the Main Controller. If the imageRunner then boots up fine with the Fax Board disconnected, try replacing the Fax Board.
            or try>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
            if on-----------
Disconnect the Paper DecK L-1, if the ImageRunner boots properly check for a bind in the Paper Deck L1.
