SMB Scan setting question ir5185 setup after new HDD { change file format of scan )

When i go to SMB scan I get ( change the file format or scan settings. Set copy ratio to 100% . Select a setting other than B/w and select 300 x 300 dpi to send scanned pages in PDF compact format )
EDIT: Checked info found this.

Workaround :
In order to take advantage of the PDF Compact mode, under Scan Settings must choose Clr/Gray 300x300dpi. Not able to choose Clr/BW or B&W scan setting when using PDF Compact mode.

The 'PDF [Compact]' scan setting activates the High Compression Mode to decrease the overall size of images and text. Through Additional Functions, a user can change the level of compression which will effect the file size and image quality. Some examples where compression can help are when large file sizes may cause unwanted network traffic problems, put a burden on server storage, and may not even be attachable to an email because it is over the send size limit.

It is possible to change the default file type and scanning mode settings used in the Send Function on the imageRUNNER-iR Series. ---To store your desired Scanning Mode settings for Send Jobs:

1. On the Send Tab, pull down the Scan Settings drop down menu and select Option.
2. The Scan Settings configuration window will open. Set the options you want on this screen (ex. Resolution, Document Size, Special Features such as Job Build and Different Size Originals, etc).

* Note - If faxing, be sure to select a supported resolution for faxing (normal - 200x100, fine - 200x200, superfine - 200x400, or ultrafine - 400x400).
3. Click the Store/Erase button.

4. Select a Scanning Mode item on the left by highlighting it. The Scanning Mode items listed on the left are different groups of stored settings.
5. Hit the Register Name or Store Name button to change the name of the Scanning Mode item selected.
6. Press the Store button, verify the settings, and hit Yes to store your settings into that Scanning Mode item. Press Done.


---To change the default Send settings:

1. Hit Additional Functions.
2. Select Communication Settings (if a fax board is attached, you need to select TX Settings under the Common Settings column).
3. Scroll to and select Edit Standard Send Settings.
4. Set the Scanning Mode (you can select the Scanning Mode item stored previously), File Format (TIFF, PDF, etc), and Divide into Pages options that you want to be the new defaults.
5. Hit OK.
6. The device must be restarted for the new default Send Settings to take effect
