[Misc] CLC 4040 Double Sided Issue

Hi All

I have a problem with registration on double sided. If you print a vertical and horizontal grid. The leading edge matches up to the second side, but the trailing edge is out by 3mm infront and 4mm at the back with the second side. I have done all cassette alignments etc ,but still no luck !!

Not much you can do with it, its know as "tailend skew". There was an adjustment for it on the irc 3200 but not on irc 5151.

Thank You for input. I thought so. I have asked around , but no one wants to admit !!! I have spent a week on this one. I will investigate further and let you know.

this is a COPY Machine= hope for the best / expect the least

there are so many things that effect two-sided on this series/ I could wright a book

there is a spot for the adjustment screw on the duplexer, you could order the 3200 screw and nut and try adjusting it
or you could swap the duplexer with someone who does not need that precision
or you could order a new duplexer
