    iR-3300i won't scan to Win7-64 computer

    Hi, fellows.

    This customer has an iR-3300i and it is working fine.
    Lately, the replaced their scan computer with a Win7-64. But, the iR-3300i cannot scan to it. Do you think that upgrading the SSW will help? Or, is it too old already? I do not have the latest System Software either.

    Please advise.

    Now, it turns out that an iR-c3220 won't scan to Win-7 either. Is there an answer to this problems?

      try to search on Software.canon-europe.com download the driver see if its available

        if its a new computer maybe office is new too and that does scan in a DIFFERENT WAY.



        It does work for sure. I have set it up.

            Hi, Bill

            You are not really giving us a clear meaning when using "scan" as the key word for your issue at hand. Everyone is giving you link to download drivers.

            As your iR3300i would comes with Universal Send as default, are you by chance referring to scanning to a share folder in Win7 64bit? If yes, you might want to go through the shared permission; software firewall offer by Win7 (3rd party or built-in by Win7) that might be giving you the problem.

              If you are pull scanning (i.e. using Canon Network ScanGear software) make sure you have the latest version. The latest version should be compatible with Windows 7 64-bit.

              I use Canon Network ScanGear on Win 7 64-bit with a 3300 (not I) as the 3300 (not I) does not have the Universal Send feature as an option.
