    iR5020i password override/reset

I have an ir5020i copier that has been here for years. We are making some network changes and I need to change the IP address on the copier, but noone knows the login code/password to access the setup features. Is there a way to reset the master password to access the network setup features (if there is will it also clear any software that is installed on the printer)? Or is there a built in admin password that may still be there?

      Service Mode?

I am ignorant of Copiers, I have the operators manual but it does not say how to enter the service mode. Could you enlighten me please?

then you should call service tech to fix your machine. as the name of this site says, this is site for copier techs, not for end users.

please let us to earn some money and to live from our job.

          Service Mode

I would not call our service tech to reset a password. The copier is not broken. I am a Network Admin and as such must work with peripheral devices. My fault I am not up to date on copiers.
I finally found the information I needed to get into service mode. I have reset the password and it is working fine.

          Thank you for your assistance.
