Canon iRC3380 Fax Issue

Hi I have an iRC3380 that is receiving faxes from outside clients ok, but the outside clients are receiving an incomplete fax confirmation.

Since the outside clients believe the fax is not getting through they are resending the fax several times.

Fax is on separate phone line.

Any thoughts? Is it just a setting on the device?

More than likely a line condition problem.

As long as the faxes are being received OK, try turning off ECM for receive, and you may as well turn it off for send as well.

ECM can give you fits. It's ironic.. it causes far more problems than it solves.

Not about to start a technical dissertation here, but trust me, it's an issue.
