    [Misc] Scanning on Imagerunner C5045

If I'm scanning a large document and walk away from the machine before naming it, the document is no longer in the preview area. Is there a way to retrieve the document to name it without having to scan it again?

    Thanks for any help.

Are you scannig to a mail box? In this case you've to define some parameters in the mail box: like the document "life" in the mail box. If you don't give a name to your document, the machine will generate one.

No, we scan with an icon on the home screen named "Share Scan". After scanning the document, we have to name it and then get directed to save it, for example, one of our client's directories. That's where the problem is - if we're scanning something and walk away prior to naming and sending it to a network directory, we can't get the document back to name and save and need to rescan.

      Thanks again.

Yes, we do use ecopy to scan to a network drive? We scan the document, get prompted to name it, then get prompted to save it to a designated file in our Word directory.
